Before going anywhere, we need to set some ground rules for this article. Whatever car you decide to pick from this list, it was chosen with the intent to be used regularly, maybe not as a daily driver, but definitely not planning on sitting about. The car must also not be a complete project car this feeds into the first point; it must drive and be driven away from the sale. Essentially, it must be within a couple of hundred pounds of passing its MOT (for those who don’t know what that is, look it up). Additionally, the sale price must be on average from a selection of five cars, one from the higher price band, one from the lower price band and three in between, below £10,000.
